3 Ways to Stay Positive – Even on Mondays!

Some days, you wake up ready to take on the whole world. Other days (like Mondays), it’s a struggle just to get out of bed and put on clothes. On those days, it can be really hard to motivate yourself to get to the gym and get your workout in, even though you know it’ll make you feel better. So how can you stay positive and get through those tough Mondays (and other days) when you just want to go back to bed? Here are a few of our favourite tips to get going and stay upbeat.

 

Put on a Cute Outfit

This might sound silly, but you know it works. When you look good, you feel good, and when you feel good, you’ll be more motivated to be positive and do the things you need to do to meet your fitness goals. If you’re feeling down, don’t put on a pair of ratty sweat pants and an old t-shirt. Instead, put on your favorite athleisure outfit. In your most comfortable and cute leggings and a top that you love (from 2ToneFit, of course), you’ll start to feel like you really can conquer the world. 

Plus, once you’ve put your workout clothes on, you’ll be more inspired to get to the gym. And, after a little bit of cardio and some resistance training, spin class, or any other workout you enjoy, you’ll get those endorphins flowing to make you feel better and more positive throughout the rest of the day.

Finally, you’ve heard the old saying, “Fake it till you make it,” right? Well, even if you don’t feel like it, put a smile on your face. Smile at people you meet, and wish them a good day. Before you know it, you’ll really be feeling that smile that you reluctantly put on at the beginning of the day.
